Intensive
Therapy
When an hour a week is just not enough.
Couples intensives offer focused, in-depth work over a concentrated period of time for couples who are ready to break destructive patterns and create meaningful change.
Whether you’re facing a relationship crisis, struggling to rebuild trust, caught in the same recurring fights, or finding that weekly therapy isn’t enough, an intensive gives us the time and space to get to the heart of what’s happening.
My approach is direct, active, and grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment theory.
Together, we’ll look beneath the conflict to understand the fears, unmet needs, and attachment patterns driving your disconnection.
We’ll identify the cycle you’re caught in, confront difficult truths, and take responsibility for the part each of you plays.
No more circular arguments, deflection, or waiting for your partner to go first. This work requires both partners to show up honestly, take risks, and practice new ways of responding to each other.
You don’t have to be on the brink of separation to benefit. You do have to be willing to do more than repeat the same arguments. Your relationship doesn’t need another week of the same fight. It needs a different approach. Contact me to schedule a consultation and explore whether a couples intensive is right for you.
Strength Starts Within.
Together, we slow things down, get curious about the patterns underneath the problem, and create meaningful change. The goal isn’t simply to feel better for a moment, but to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and the way you move through the world.

I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for individuals and couples who may not otherwise be able to afford therapy. Sliding-scale fees are based on household income.
I am an out-of-network provider, and psychotherapy may be partially reimbursed by your health insurance plan. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm your out-of-network benefits and reimbursement rates. I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

As frequent cancellations interfere with our work and my schedule, please avoid missing session whenever feasible.
If you cannot make your normal time, I will try to reschedule you to another time that week or an additional time the following week.
If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, please notify me at least a WEEK prior to our session.
The fee will be charged for missed or rescheduled sessions without such notification.

How long does therapy take?
There’s no set timeline for therapy. How long we work together depends on what brings you in, what you hope to change, and how the work unfolds. Meaningful change rarely comes from quick solutions or advice; it comes from sustained attention to what has been difficult to face alone.
If you have a specific timeline or pressing concern, an intensive may be a better fit. Intensives are structured around a defined number of sessions and a focused goal.
